Persian Omellete Recipe by Paria
Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Tbsp of Toamto Paste
- 25 Grams of Butter
- 1.5 Tsp of Salt
- 1 Tsp of Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp of Ground Turmeric
Instruction
- Step 1: Put your pan on the stove over medium heat and add the butter. Let it slowly melt.
- Step 2: Once the butter is melted and heated, add the tomato paste. Spread it evenly in the pan and cook until the color darkens slightly. Adjust the heat to ensure the butter doesn't burn.
- Step 3: Now that the tomato paste is ready, add 50 ml of boiling water and stir the sauce until it reaches the perfect saucy texture—not too watery and not too thick.
- Step 4:Add the eggs to the pan and stir the whites for 30 seconds, making sure they're nicely blended with the sauce. Leave the yolks undisturbed for now.
- Step 5: Add all the seasonings and mix all the ingredients, including the egg yolks. Continue stirring until the eggs are fully cooked. Your omelette is ready!
Additional tips
I highly recommend serving it with slices of lemon, fresh basil,and of course, fresh bread of your choice.
